AUGUST 14 - RETROS

7pm - 9pm

RETROS have a very simple attitude about their music. They like to think that everyone who hears

them knows every song they play. It’s the same kind of format you might hear on an Oldies radio

station (without all the bubble-gum). Covering the '50s through the '80s gives them a lot to choose

from.  Slipping easily from a '59 classic steel guitar instrumental to a Rolling Stones hit from '69, then

something from the '70s, '80s and even an original thrown in for good measure. Every style from

Motown to Psychadelic is represented true to form.

AUGUST 28 - ACES N EIGHTS

7pm - 9pm

Sponsored by Clarkdale Chamber of Commerce

ACES N EIGHTS is a popular cover band based in northern Arizona. The professional 4 member

group performs a repertoire ranging from 60's to today’s favorites, with a little blues, funk & country

thrown in to satisfy everyone. Each of the members has brought their own flair to the stage. Martin

Etcheverry would be considered the leader of the group, playing lead guitar and also adding vocals,

he is considered the "blues man, Tim Myers, on drums, is the "funk soul brother", Marc Franquero,

on the bass, is the "soul man" and Laurie Etcheverry, lead vocal and rhythm guitar, is the "rocker girl"

but she can sing a country song to make your heart melt. They have a combined experience of over

38 years, and they love what they do! With a diverse variety of music, they strive to please everyone

in their audience.

SEPTEMBER 11 - CADILLAC ANGELS

6pm - 8pm

CADILLAC ANGELS is one of the best rockabilly bands in the land. Although based in Arizona,

the Cadillac Angels hail from Santa Barbara and have left their mark on the music scene since

the early ’80s. The band, formally known as the Roadhouse Rockers with front man and creative

genius Tony Balbinot, energizes the crowd with a kind of music that has managed to survive 50

years of semi-obscurity and a few bursts of popularity. The roots, rockabilly, and surf-rock outfit

recently released Two Blocks Off Main, their 15th recording. To learn more about the Cadillac

Angels visit their website at http://www.crackedpistonrecordings.com/cadangels.htm.

SEPTEMBER 25 - MAJOR LINGO

6pm - 8pm

Sponsored by Clarkdale Foundation

For over twenty five years, MAJOR LINGO has been lifting dancers into ecstatic frenzy as Arizona's

premier Highway Band. Major Lingo was formed in 1982 by current members Tony Bruno, slide

guitarist extraordinaire, and John Ziegler, singer, guitarist and songwriter. They started out in the

funky little ghost town and art haven of Jerome, and now travel throughout Arizona and beyond.

Through several lineup changes over the years, Major Lingo has evolved its signature sound, which

incorporates elements of psychedelic rock, ska, reggae, Celtic, Middle Eastern, Latin, and folk into a wonderful, energetic, and highly danceable

whole. In addition to Ziegler and Bruno, the band currently includes songwriter Sally Stricker on bass and vocals, and Steve Botterweg on drums

and vocals.    http://www.majorlingo.com/arizona-highway-band/
